Rhino Africa: In a New York State of Mind

February 19, 2014

We’re in the business of making dreams come true; it’s hard but someone has to do it.  It’s therefore natural for us to go to the ‘concrete jungle where dreams are made,’ whenever the opportunity strikes and the New York Times Travel Show more than qualifies as an excuse to pack our bags.

To get us amped for the event – not that we need any help – we’ve been scrolling through our song library, searching for tunes that praise the Big Apple. We’ve compiled a short playlist that we’re listening to every time our excitement level drops below hysterical. Billy Joel (New York State of Mind), Christopher Cross (The Best Thing You Can Do), Alicia and JZ (Empire State of Mind) and Frank Sinatra (New York, New York) have ensured that we’re just about levitating with anticipation!

Nothing makes us happier than living our passion and the New York Times Travel Show is the perfect platform to do so. We’re bringing Africa to New York so that we, in turn, can bring you to Africa. Sound good?

Rhino Africa and New York Times Travel Show

We think so and to prove that we walk the talk, we’re giving away 100 free tickets. If you’re going to be in or around New York on 1-2 March drop a mail to tamlin@rhinoafrica.com and, availability permitting, we’ll return the love with 2 free tickets. Our Rhinos, David Ryan, Anton De Wit, Helen Kirby and Geraldine Symington will be flying the flag at our booth – Number 1051  and they cannot wait to meet you/see you again, answer your questions and, if the mood takes you, book your dream trip to Africa!

Just when you’re thinking it couldn’t get any better, let us give you a quick summary of what you can expect at the event: international flavours and cultures, a showcase of 500 destinations from all over the globe, a small army of travel experts at your beck and call and so, so much more. In short, you’ll be spoilt and it makes us happy to be the ones doing the spoiling. We’d love you to pay us a visit so that we can tell you why we love Africa.
