From its commanding location in the Cape Town's Waterfront , The Cape Grace is one of our favourite luxury hotels in Cape Town.
The Cape Grace has in the last 10 years has sailed into the top lists the world over, thanks largely to the supreme professionalism of its staff members. In terms of hospitality, the Cape Grace is definately the leader in creating new standards of service within South Africa's top hotels - the Cape Grace does in my opinion set the benchmark ! This morning our Travel Consultants had the opportunity to talk to Carol Cowan from the Cape Grace. Carol came to our offices to show and tell us about some of the exciting developments at the hotel.
In my opinion the most exciting news was to hear about the efforts that the Cape Grace goes to, to make children feel welcome. From Handmade Gingerbread Men at Turndown, age specific gift boxes on arrival, * Kids at the Cape Grace* bibs and hoody bathtowels, they seem to have thought of everything. Whilst so many hotels want to hide children away and subject families to ghastly rules and regulations, I think it is refreshing to have a hotel that rejoices in the fact that Little Johnny and Little Joanna are their guests of the future and make them feel like royalty !
We've all been invited to breakfast at the Cape Grace in May, so watch this space for my feedback, I pride myself on my ability to spot a good Eggs Benedict and according to the Cape Grace - they have an award winning one !
