The Clay Oven

I dine out quite abit in Cape Town. I was out the other night and a friend who was at the table opposite me, just by chance, asked me if I had a kitchen at home to which I replied yes, but I prefer not to use it.

This brings me to tell you all about a little gem of a restaurant I found in Cape Town. Situated in the heart of Long Street and if you walk by or drive past too fast you might miss it. It's called The Clay Oven and they make a mean Pizza. I love pizza and have never tasted pizza like this. The restaurant is very basically decorated with comfy pillows and you can dine either inside or out on the walkway. Locals serve you but be sure to get there early as it is very popular.

I have been here on numerous occassion and have never been let down. It is truely a tastebud explosion.

Next time you are in Cape Town give it a try. You will not be disappointed.
