“WOW” was the standard response from all the Rhino consultants who walked into the 2INN1 Kensington Luxury Guest House in Cape Town yesterday. Rhino Africa makes a massive effort to see and experience as many properties as possible in order to offer our clients first-hand experience and knowledge. Because we have had the extravagant privilege of seeing some of South Africa’s most prestigious hotels and lodges, it can often be difficult to truly impress us. That said, all of the ten Rhino Africans who visited 2INN1 Kensington for a sumptuous breakfast were spellbound and blown away by the calm and beautiful flow of this stylish and sophisticated guest house. The German owners, Christopher and Klaus, renovated an old Victorian house in Oranjezicht – one of Cape Town’s most illustrious suburbs and have created a masterpiece!
2INN1 Kensington is within walking distance of the vibrant Kloof Street coffee shops, bars and restaurants and very close to all of Cape Town’s main attractions such as the Waterfront, Table Mountain Cable Car, city centre, etc. The best part about staying in this part of the city is that it is on the slopes of Table Mountain and has magnificent views of the mountain and over the city. Opposite the guest house is open forested land with squirrels frolicking and birds singing – this fusion of nature and city living will give the visitor a true sense of what Cape Town is about. Cape Town is NOT your average city experience!
2INN1Kensington offer a perfect place for sundowners after a long day of sight-seeing, a Jacuzzi to sip Champaign in, a very inviting swimming pool to cool off and sunbath next to and of course the most important – brilliant, personal and friendly service.
It’s brand new, the rooms are big and beautifully decorated with an Afro-chic feel and it’s ideally situated for a base while you explore Cape Town, South Africa’s ‘Mother City’. We are definitely going to recommend this one to our clients!
