At Rhino Africa, we believe travel should be a force for good. Our vision has always been to leave a sustainable and enduring legacy on the continent we call home. To further this mission, we’re proud to celebrate our 1% for Africa initiative. Through this commitment, a portion of every booking made with us goes directly to our Impact Partners. This means that simply by choosing to explore Africa with us, you’re actively contributing to wildlife conservation and community upliftment.

How Your Travel Drives Change

The 1% for Africa initiative is our pledge to the future. For every guest who books a dream holiday with us, we offer the opportunity to donate 1% of your total booking value to our partners on the ground and join us in changing lives on the African continent.

This initiative is our commitment to reinvesting our revenue into the people and wildlife that make Africa so extraordinary. By streamlining the path between your travel spend and grassroots projects, we ensure your visit provides tangible, immediate support to those at the frontlines of conservation and education.

Our Partners in Impact

Over our 21-year history, we’ve created longstanding partnerships with Impact Partners who make meaningful contributions on our continent. We’re proud to be associated with the following partners.

Wildlife ACT: Guardians of the Wild

Wildlife ACT focuses on protecting Africa’s most endangered and threatened species. Their team delivers vital expertise in the field, including:

  • Species Monitoring: Deploying state-of-the-art equipment to track black rhino, African wild dog, and cheetah populations.
  • Anti-Poaching: Implementing measures to bring species back from the brink of extinction.
  • Community Engagement: Helping those living alongside protected areas develop a respect for nature.

  • Measurable Success: Their programmes reach thousands of learners annually, with adult graduation rates reaching 95%.
  • Creating Brighter Futures: 83% of graduates continue their education, begin internships, or gain permanent employment following graduation.

The Power of Your Travel

When you travel with Rhino Africa, you’re more than a guest. Instead, you’re a partner in conservation. Your journey helps fund the collaring and tracking of an endangered African wild dog, the digital education of a rural student, and the protection of the last remaining desert-adapted rhinos.

We invite you to join our journey and see the beauty of Africa for yourself, knowing that your presence here leaves a positive mark long after you return home.
