Cape Town is consistently ranked as one of the best cities in the world, and for good reason. In fact, many reasons! South Africa's oldest city truly is a unique setting, from its famous flat-topped Table Mountain hugged by towering city buildings, vineyards and the Atlantic Ocean. The enchanting mix of activities and attractions, pristine beaches, rich history, culture, fine dining, and plenty of wine farms make it one of the best holiday destinations for any kind of traveller. If you think you need any more convincing to visit Cape Town (although we doubt it!), here's a selection of our favourite photos to get you excited. We hope you're ready!

Take a short walk from the city centre, where at the base of Signal Hill, you'll see the bright, multi-hued houses dotting the cobblestone streets of the famous Bo-Kaap. Here, you can explore Cape Malay cooking and culture, and we highly recommend you pay Atlas, the local spice store, a visit.

Set against the back of Table Mountain, Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden is internationally acclaimed as one of the seven most magnificent botanical gardens in the world, covering 528 hectares of estate, including a cultivated garden and a nature reserve. Whether you're a pro or amateur surfer, you'll love Muizenberg. It's known for being one of the top places to learn how to surf because of its consistent, gentle breaks. This town also received international attention from National Geographic when it was voted "One of the World's Best Surf Towns". There are also plenty of great cafés, shops and restaurants here.
