The Bachelor, an ABC television series where potential love interests vie for the attention of one man, has finally visited South African shores! Last night Brad Womack the 2011 Bachelor took the three remaining ladies on safari in Africa at Lion Sands Private Game Reserve in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve part of the Greater Kruger National Park.
At Rhino Africa we know Lion Sands very well; in fact we have a section of our website dedicated just to this reserve and its three luxury accommodation options; Lion Sands River Lodge, Lion Sands Ivory Lodge and 1933 at Lion Sands. Which is why we weren’t surprised at the choice of venue. We believe an African safari can be incredibly romantic and a great Honeymoon experience!
In this week’s episode of the Bachelor, Brad and the three ladies left in the running for his heart got to enjoy all the amazing activities on offer in the Kruger National Park. Brad took each lady on a private date in the area. Chantal O’Brien and Brad went on an exclusive game drive in Lion Sands, a big five game reserve, they encountered giraffe, elephant and lion roaming freely throughout the reserve. Later they enjoyed a private and romantic dinner.
Emil Maynard and Brad fulfilled one of Emily’s life-long dreams when they enjoyed a private elephant ride for two! And on the final date Brad takes Ashley Herbert on an incredible helicopter tour over the spectacular South African landscape. They enjoy a picnic atop “God’s Window” part of the Mpumalanga Panorama route.
In the rose ceremony Brad breaks Ashley Herbert’s heart sending her home and now there are only two!
Of course everybody who gets to experience an African safari of this caliber wins, so we don’t feel to bad for Ashley 🙂
Good for him
