A life dedicated to the ideals of freedom and forgiveness; that is the legacy of Nelson Mandela. The 18th of July 2018 marks the 100th anniversary of the birth of Nelson Mandela. Now in its 24th year of democracy, South Africa hosts a centenary celebration along with a world-wide call for 67 minutes of service for Mandela Day. To mark the occasion, we have compiled 10 memorable quotes from Madiba himself, which show his vision for South Africa and humanity as a whole.

Rhino Africa supports several causes that are close to our hearts and fall in line with our vision to give back to society, leaving a lasting legacy in Africa. These include the Wildlife ACT, Challenge4ACause, the Save The Rhino Trust, the Good Work Foundation and Khumbulani Day Care among others. Read the quotes below and be inspired to make a change in honour of Madiba and everything that he stood for.

Watch our video to see how we spent Mandela Day with the wonderful children of Khumbulani Day Care Centre, making a one-of-a-kind work of art to be auctioned off later this year. Proceeds will be donated towards ensuring the future of these same children so that they too can carry out the legacy of Mandela.

A big thank you to Ilios Travel who sponsored two vehicles for our Mandela Day celebrations with Khumbulani!
