Elephants in the Okavango Delta in Botswana

Splish, splash, I was taking a bath

As the sun rises, head out on an early morning game drive to become a spectator to the daily life and interactions of the wildlife. Amidst the tranquil silence, tune in to the symphony of nature – the rustle of antelopes, grunts of hippos, and playful splashes of elephants frolicking in the water.

In the afternoon, indulge in the breathtaking aerial vistas of the Okavango Delta, where you can spot the wildlife roaming below. We recommend taking a scenic flight to behold the grandeur of the largest inland delta on Earth.

As daylight wanes, glide through the Okavango Delta's waterways on a traditional mokoro ride. Keep a keen eye out for submerged wonders lurking beneath the surface, including the appearance of hippos and crocodiles in the shallows. You'll also see wildlife coming to the banks to drink, meeting your eyes as you pass them. It's my personal favourite activity in the Okavango Delta.

Take to the air or water for a magical ride and breathtaking views

Guided by the intricate choreography of nature, the Okavango Delta's waterways meander with deep curves and intricate patterns, sculpted in part by the movements of hippos and other wildlife as they wade through the water. Even the big cats like lions brave the water to pounce on prey!

Nothing beats an African sunset, with a melodic chorus of crickets and frogs signalling the end of the day and the start of the night. This is also the "golden hour" to capture surreal-looking photographs.
