Lose yourself in our video and find yourself in Cape Town…
For those who have yet to step foot in this melting pot of a city, Cape Town, we introduce the Mother City to you here in a new Rhinoafrica.com video. But this is just a teaser – you’re going to want to experience iKapa for yourself. Up close!
Cape Town was recently recognised as the world’s top travel destination in the TripAdvisor 2011 Travellers’ Choice Destination Awards, beating international competitors such as London and New York. And it’s obvious to us why.
Europe and Africa unite in this city, which is considered to be one of the most multicultural in the world. With its varied landscape, good climate and well-developed infrastructure, it attracts tourists the world over.
Highlights of Cape Town include the world-famous national monument Table Mountain and the several hikes and glorious sunsets you can enjoy on its peaks. There’s the Atlantic Seaboard, known as Cape Town’s ‘Riviera’, stretching from the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront on the north shore of Table Mountain all the way down the west side of the Cape Peninsula to Hout Bay. It also includes the residential suburbs of Mouille Point, Sea Point and Green Point, Fresnaye, Bantry Bay, Clifton, Camps Bay, Bakoven and Llandudno.
The City Bowl is a vibey metropolis of restaurants, bars, dance clubs, residents and businesses, as is the V&A Waterfront – which is a must for holidaymakers. The Southern Suburbs, False Bay and Cape Point offer sights and sounds at a slower pace, with seascapes and ocean-side eateries, wine farms, nature reserve trails and more.
