Kennedi likes finding the stories that make a place feel like itself. A Joburg girl at heart, she moved to Cape Town after school to study, and years later, she’s still not over the mountain. Her love of food and travel has made her especially curious about the details that give a destination its character. Her theory? Spend enough time in a grocery store and you’ll learn things no guidebook can tell you. Her earliest travel memories were made in the Kruger, where family holidays sparked a lifelong love of the bush. These days, when she’s not writing, she’s exploring the little dorpies of the Western Cape, searching for a good craft beer, or at home with Flea, her cat.
