Kennedi has a curiosity for the stories hidden in everyday places. A Joburg girl at heart, she moved to Cape Town after school to study, and years later, the mountain still hasn’t lost its magic. Her love of food and travel has grown into an appreciation for the small details that give a destination its character. Grocery store aisles, she’s convinced, can tell you more about a place than any guidebook. Some of her earliest travel memories are from the Kruger, where family holidays sparked a lifelong love of the African bush. When she’s not writing, she’s exploring the little dorpies of the Western Cape, tracking down a good craft beer, or at home with her cat, Flea.
