World Cup Hangover?

By Craig Harding on July 15, 2010

The World Cup is over, Spain won, Paul the Octopus was entirely correct and the naysayers (mostly the British press) were forced to eat humble pie. The Giant Vuvuzela and the wheel of excellence have come down. We wondered how many visitors came to South Africa and Ross and Craig picked their World Cup dream teams, which turned out to be pretty accurate. In the beginning Tshabalala and Bafana Bafana thrilled us.. and then unfortunately disappointed us and then the referees came in for some fire! The Rhino African’s did the diski dance and we attempted to explain the Vuvuzela to one and all. But now it’s all over and we are all suffering from slight depression as it was really such an amazing time in our country. One of South Africa’s most popular cartoonists, Zapiro has perfectly captured the nations mood in some of his most recent works and we thought we would share.

Craig Harding is the general go-to guy at Rhino Africa. He's pretty chilled out so he's the right guy to have by your side on an intrepid adventure. He says 'the journey is the destination' so we just all nod and agree - it's better that way...
